kemu 0.0.1-prealpha

There is a new bug-fix version of KEmu available in our Download Center.

The new version brings some more available settings. More important: The code has been cleaned up and with it, some bugs where removed that caused the program to crash regularly when showing the configuration dialog for a virtual machine.

Help wanted ...

... erm well hi there^^ Today I start a call. A call? Yes a call. Graphic Designer: Attention please.

A little while ago I started a new project called RPGBomber2009. As you might guess, you need some pretty nice graphics for drawing a good looking scene. Unfortunatly I am the type of guy, who can not draw even a circle, house or whatever you might think of. Anyway ... I made it to create a nice little bombermanmesh, which helps me to create some cool buttons. But this is not enough. So long story short:

RPGBomber 2009

This is RPGBomber2009, basicly a bombermanclon with rollplaygameelements. It is based on the Irrlichtengine and is written in C++.

KEmu

KEmu is a front-end for the QEMU and KVM virtual machines. It is written in Ruby, using the QtRuby 4 and Korundum 4 bindings to integrate into the KDE 4 desktop.

KI3U

KI3U is a backup program for KDE 4. It is written in C++, using Qt4 and the KDE 4 libraries.

The program basically acts as a front-end for existing backup solutions. New bindings can be written easily by providing implementations of a lightweight interface.

Langadia++ 2

Langadia++ 2 is the predecessor of the Langadia++ framework.

It is designed as class library, providing useful utilities for especially game development upon Qt4. Langadia++ 2 is platform independent; basically, it should run on Windows, Linux and MacOS.

New category "Projects"

As our main mission is to write games, we rarely published non-playable content on this site. However, from time to time, either by pure interest in a topic or because we needed it ourselves, we also write some other desktop applications and tools. From now on, these will have their own category, which can be reached through the secondary links menu or directly via http://www.rpdev.net/home/projects.
