RPGBomber2009 for Linux now available

It's late, but better than never:
I proudly announce the release of precompiled versions of RPGBomber2009 for Linux 32 and 64 bit systems.

Please download the game via our Download Center.

The binaries have been compiled for i686 and x86_64 bit systems. The required Irrlicht library is included. Note, that you will need to install SDL and SDL_mixer by your own. You should use your distributions package manager to do so.

Hey there folks. It's time for "demo or die". Today is the release of RPGBomber2009 and I'm really glad, that the first release is actually in 2009 ;)

kemu 0.0.4-dev

This is a bug fix version only, concerning the following points:

  • Better README
  • Added character encoding hint to kemu main file for Ruby versions >= 1.9
  • Added a fix that prevents KEmu from crashing when an expected executable cannot be found

Special thanks to the friendly testes from kde-apps.org ;)

As usual, KEmu is available via our Download Center.

kemu 0.0.3-dev

Finally, here is version 0.0.3 of KEmu. The annoying bug when closing KEmu now seems to be gone. Additionally, some code cleanup has been done which will hopefully lead also to better processing of the automatically generated lists of available CPUs, target machines and sound hardware.
Also, KEmu should now be able to run on systems, where the qemu-kvm executable is not used (and instead KVM must be started via qemu -enable-kvm).

tudai_utilities 0.0.1-dev

This is a bug fix version. It corrects the command line parser, so that it now really handles key-value input.

The new version can be downloaded via the Download Center.

It's Christmas time!

Just in time for tomorrow (1st December ;) ) we are proud to present our new theme. If you have a look in the list of recent news posts, you will notice that just some weeks ago we already had a change. However, the theme was indeed pretty unique an pretty ugly, so in order of our "tidy up the organization level of RPdev" movement we created a new set of themes, fitting our color scheme. So at last for the next month we will present you with clear red theme.

[RPGBomber2009] Current State

Hi there,

it's been a while, since the last release of RPGBomber2009. And unfortunatly this is not an announcement of the current release. But it is a sneak preview of the current state.

New Website Theme

RPdev has it's own website theme now! From now on, our main website uses a new theme (simply called RPdev 2).

Previously, we used the "RPdev" theme, which was a slightly modified version of the famous Garland theme. I want to thank the authors of that theme here: Garland is a really nice one and therefore we do not regret using it for our first year (yes, RPdev is just one year and a month old so far ;)

However: A lot of sites out there are using Garland, so even with our modified version we do not look too different from these other sites.

kemu 0.0.2-prealpha

Version 0.0.2 of KEmu is available now in our Download Center.

This is a bug fix release, however, it also contains some new features.

Changelog:

  • Removed bug that prevented starting a guest after changing its settings.
  • Added GUI for setting display related stuff
  • Added GUI for network settings

RPdev Web

This project exists to have a central place for collecting ideas and bug reports for our web sites. Currently, we have two websites:

  • RPdev Home: This is our mainsite, where users usually get redirected, when accesing our top level webdirectory.
  • RPdev Download Center: This is where our downloads can be accessed. Currently, there is no nice, integrated solution for Drupal, so we use a separate software for the downloads.
