Description
It would be nice to have a new start page, which is shown when someone visits our root URL. Currently, users doing so are redirected to Home.
The start page should be an eye catcher: It has to be visually appealing. It will be used for two main purposes:
- Present projects
- It shall list all projects, together with download links and short installation instructions. The project pages can additionally link to the corresponding pages in Home.
- Download Center
- As we need a new download center solution, this can be integrated there as well. Downloads should be directly assigned to the projects, so when the user visits a projects page, he should directly be served with a "download" button (ideally, with preselected operating system/architecture).
