Description
After starting a QEMU/KVM instance, KEmu itself (!) takes up a lot of RAM. Within some few minutes it occupied around half a Gig RAM; additionally, while KEmu was running, the guest was unusable.
The problem does not occur as long as no guest is started.
Problem occurred using qemu-kvm on current Arch Linux (x86_64).
