Hi there,

after a long break (much longer than wanted <.<) developing RPGBomber2009 I developed some artificial intelligence relating stuff. I don't want to talk about that in detail, well at least not now, couase I have not that much time these days... But I want to post a little video to give you some impressions of what you have to expect >:-) Anyway, this video contains a big mistake in the behavior of the agent. I think it speaks for itself. Have a look:

Anyway... I more detailed article about the desiogn and implementation of the agent, will follow up rather soon. So stay tuned ;)

it's been a while, since the last release of RPGBomber2009. And unfortunatly this is not an announcement of the current release. But it is a sneak preview of the current state.

A little while ago I started a new project called RPGBomber2009. As you might guess, you need some pretty nice graphics for drawing a good looking scene. Unfortunatly I am the type of guy, who can not draw even a circle, house or whatever you might think of. Anyway ... I made it to create a nice little bombermanmesh, which helps me to create some cool buttons. But this is not enough. So long story short:

today I'm kinda pissed. Here is the situation. I wanted to write a small tool for the game Urban Rivals, so that I don't have to figure out the strength of the opponent by myself. Nothing special so far.

There is the maindialog with some comboboxes and an editbox for the strengthoutput. Let's take a closer look! If you want to write a string to an editbox you have to use this function:

BOOL SetDlgItemText(HWND, int, LPCWSTR);

I have to do a report 'bout internet phenomena and as you might all know you can talk about that for weeks. So I can't show all crazy stuff, which is there in the internet, in that 15 minutes presentation. Flyff DataMob

Heute schreiben wir den 2.4.2009 und nach ca 1 Tag Planung und 3 Nächten Programmierung wird die erste Demoversion von Flyff DataMob zum Download angeboten. Es soll eine globale und vor allem dynamische Zusammenfassung für alle Mobs und ihre korrespondierenden Drops darstellen und somit die Spieleffizienz erhöhen.

Tutorial: isometrische Karten [GERMAN]

Ich habe die Ehre das erste deutschsprachige Tutorial auf www.rpdev.net zu veröffentlichen. Es soll sich dieses mal auch mit Spieleprogrammierung beschäftigen – genauer gesagt, mit einem Kartenformat in isometrischer Ansicht, auf der sich dann irgendwann ein "Held" bewegen kann. Was das ist und wie man es benutzt, erfahrt ihr hier.

Über mich

Da ich ebenfalls Angewandte Informatik an der TU-Dresden studiere, habe ich mich dazu entschlossen aus meiner Geburtsstadt Freiberg (ca 50 km von Dresden weg) an meinen Studienstandort überzusiedeln. Mit 20 Jahren und meinem Geburtstag am 8.11.1987 bin ich derzeit das älteste Mitglied von RPdev, was natürlich nur statistischen Wert hat.
